Your Exercise Referral and PT for People with Medical Conditions course

What are the benefits of this course for you?

Do something you love

There is nothing more rewarding than helping someone to feel better. Seeing the smile on the face of someone who can take the dog for a walk again, make it up and down the stairs without pain, or get back to their favourite hobbies like gardening and sometimes even sports too, is truly wonderful.

Helping a client to reduce or sometimes even come off medication, manage and reduce pain, or give them the self-confidence to live their life on their terms are just some of the many amazing benefits of working with people with medical conditions.

Get more clients

With over 25 million people in the UK over 50, and medical conditions far more common as people age, this qualification helps to set you apart as an expert. Even today, only a very small percentage of PT’s have the knowledge, skills, and qualifications to help the people who really need help.

    • It’s thought that a third of men and a quarter of women in the UK have high blood pressure (Blood Pressure UK).

    • 4.3 million people have type 2 diabetes, probably over 5 million if everyone was properly diagnosed (Diabetes UK)

    • The Royal Osteoporosis Society says that 3.5 million people in the UK have osteoporosis. Half of all women over 50 will fracture a bone because of the condition.

    • 8.75 million people over 45 in the UK have sought treatment for osteoarthritis. (Versus Arthritis).

That’s just a small sample of the conditions you’ll learn about on this course.

As you can see, there’s plenty of work for you to do!

Boost your income potential

You’ve seen how many people need your help. Bear in mind that it’s the older generation that have more time and more spare money too, so you have plenty of opportunities to earn what your knowledge and skills deserve. As you’ll stand apart from most PTs, you’ll also find that you can charge higher rates than most.

And your job opportunities

Of course, not everyone who needs your help has the money, but having this qualification means you’ll be more likely to get a whole host of jobs in the wellbeing sector. Exercise Referral Instructor and Coordinator roles are needed nationwide and there are plenty more wellbeing and health positions popping up in the NHS and with private companies these days too.

Be reassured that you are insured

Yes, I know, plenty of PT’s train clients with these conditions without the right qualifications. But, if something goes wrong, they’re in big trouble. Get qualified, get protected, stand out from the crowd, and show your clients that you do everything in your power to look after them.

If it wasn’t for Paul’s teaching I would not be where I am today, for which I am forever grateful! (I’ve recently opened my own gym and I love it!)

His passion and sound knowledge is addictive and creates an incredibly fun environment in which to learn.

I have clients in their 60s and 70s with musculoskeletal and cardiovascular issues and his course has given me real confidence to deal with such issues.
